Windsor Conservative Association has adopted Adam Afriyie as their candidate for the next General Election.

Windsor Conservative Association Executive committee held a meeting where they formerly adopted Adam Afiryie as their candidate should an election arise.

Adam has been the member of parliament in Windsor since 2005

Following the meeting, Adam said “I am absolutely over the moon. Windsor is such a beautiful constituency, and for the association to re-adopt me today, I find it moving. But above all, we have got to fight for the things that our constituents need. I think at the top of the list is trying to stop that 3rd runway as best we can. And secondly, around the flooding issue to make sure that that lower Thames alleviation scheme sees full fruition, so I am really looking forward to fighting these things.”

Natasha Airey, the Chair of Windsor Conservative Association, said “I am pleased that Adam Afriyie has been re-selected as the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for the next general election. He is a hard-working MP who is committed to representing residents. We are confident he will continue working to deliver the commitments made by the conservative government for the benefit of his constituents.”
