Heart Breakfast present Jamie Theakston will finish his 7th day of cycling in Windsor tomorrow at Windsor Castle. He is expected to arrive in Windsor during London’s drive time show presented by JK and Kelly Brook between 4 pm and 7 pm tomorrow.
Following the incredible success of last year’s challenge which saw Jamie Theakston walk seven marathons in seven days and raise over £200K for Global’s Make Some Noise, Jamie has raised the bar once again for 2019’s charity fundraising challenge.
Jamie’s Bike Britain Challenge involves Jamie travelling through eight cities in eight days. Over the course of the mammoth challenge, Jamie would have been cycling an impressive 650 miles reaching Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, Bristol and culminating in London on Global’s Make Some Noise day, Friday 11th October.
Jamie is by no means a cyclist but wanted to take on a much bigger challenge for 2019, raising the bar to raise even more money for the charity hopefully.
Global’s Make Some Noise funds and empowers projects, helping disadvantaged children, young people and their families across the UK.
You can see how the journey is taking its toll on Jamie as he cries discussing how tough it’s been: https://twitter.com/thisisheart/status/1181461851147767808?s=20
