Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision which occurred in Windsor yesterday afternoon in Maidenhead Road Windsor.

The collision which took place at around 2.50 pm on the A308 Maidenhead Road near the Windsor Lad Harvester restaurant involved a black Hyundai car and a bicycle.

The rider of the bicycle a 46-year-old-man sustained serious injuries to his head and body and was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains.

Investigating officer, PC Mark Harris of the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing at Taplow, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.

“If you saw this, or have any information which could help our investigation, please call 101, quoting reference number 43190310842.”

No arrest have been made.
