Twelve pupils from St Georges School Windsor and Windsor Girls School completed the “three peaks challenge on Thursday (21st November) at Windsor Castle.

The pupils completed 70,000 metres (43.49) miles in 45 minutes. They did this by hopping, skateboarding and dancing the combined distance of the three most towering mountains in the world. Amazingly not once but twice over.

Mr Wilson, Teacher at St Georges, said: “I am so very proud of the children for completing this challenge, and I am also very grateful for the support offered by Windsor Girls.”

The pupils were joined by local PCSO David Bullock and Mike Sellis from Windsor Lion.

Both schools are raising money for a new defibrillator for the local community. They have already raised £1000 and with the Windsor Girls’ school hope to increase the amount.
