Police are appealing for witnesses after a boozy knife fight broke out at Windsor Cricket Club. The incident happened at about 10pm on 20th July but local police only made the appeal on Wednesday.
WeAreWindsor understands members of the traveller community got into an altercation with a group from Dedworth. The Thames Valley Police said they had arrested one 28-year-old man on suspicion of affray but had released him on Police bail.
The police have not released details on the state of any victims.
Members of the Windsor Cricket Club have expressed their shock at the incident. One regular exclusively told WeAreWindsor, “Windsor Cricket Club isn’t known for rowdiness but we were clearing blood off the pavement the next day. This was a very nasty incident.”
